For foreign friends, when you heard the word China, the first thought appeared must be our family culture. From ancient times to the present, no matter how much the Chinese people's thoughts and technology have changed, the word "family culture" has always been the most representative label culture for us.
Mid-autumn festival is the most important festival to express the words above.
On the Chinese Calender,the day August 15th is called Zhongqiu Jie(Mid-autumn festival),which represents the hot summer had been over,the the harvest season arrived virtually. On this golden day,people always gathered to worship the moon,the moon of the day is recognized as the most beautiful one of the whole year,they stay with the most valuable friends and family members to share the mooncakes while enjoying the perfect moon,drink the tea made by themselves,make lanterns and fly them to the sky to make wishes,worship the loved one who couldn’t be with them any more until next life,all in all, it is a day for reunion,missing loved person,making wishes,giving thanks to everything in lives.
Perhaps it is his romantic and traditional atmosphere,which made him accompanied with us for more than three thousands years,no matter how technology be innovated, no matter how far away we chinese people get away from our motherland,a kind of affection will be aroused deeply their heart on this day.
